Welcome to Heat IQ. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.

Heat IQ is a UK-registered business specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, and renewable energy systems, including heat pumps and solar power. Our company registration number is 11480960, and our registered office is located at Netherton Mill, Holdsworth Road, Halifax, United Kingdom, HX3 6FD.
Changes to Terms
Heat IQ reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
Services Provided
Heat IQ provides the following services:
Installation of heating systems, including air conditioning, heat pumps, and solar panels.
Servicing and maintenance of installed systems.
Consultation and assessment of heating and energy efficiency solutions.
All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or business for any reason, in compliance with applicable UK laws.
Payments
A deposit may be required upon acceptance of the quotation, with the balance due upon completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods. Details of payment will be provided in the invoice.
Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Installation Process
All installations will be carried out by fully qualified engineers in compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards.
Heat IQ will make every effort to complete the installation within the agreed timeframe. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by external factors, such as supply chain disruptions or adverse weather conditions.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is accessible and safe for our engineers to work. Any additional costs incurred due to site inaccessibility or hazards will be the responsibility of the customer.
Liability
Heat IQ will not be liable for any damage to property or personal injury unless caused by our negligence.
We will not be held responsible for any loss of earnings or business interruption due to the installation or repair process.
In the event of a dispute, Heat IQ’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Complaints
We are committed to delivering high-quality services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us in writing at hello@heatiq.co.uk or by phone at 01422 766500.
We will investigate your complaint and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to an independent ombudsman service, such as the Financial Ombudsman Service or the relevant regulatory authority.
Quotations and Pricing
All quotations provided are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Prices for services are based on the information provided by the customer and any site assessments carried out by Heat IQ.
Prices are subject to change if additional work is required or if unforeseen circumstances arise.
Any promotions or discounts offered by Heat IQ are subject to their own terms and may not be combined unless explicitly stated.
Cancellation & Refunds
If you wish to cancel or postpone an installation, you must notify us in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled date.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled work may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total project cost.
Refunds are only available in cases of faulty installation or defective parts, in accordance with UK consumer protection laws. Any request for a refund must be made in writing and will be assessed by our team.
Warranty
Heat IQ provides a warranty for both labour and parts for a period of [Warranty Period] years following the installation date.
The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs.
Any repairs or replacements under warranty must be carried out by Heat IQ or an approved partner. Failure to adhere to this condition will void the warranty.
Privacy Policy
Heat IQ is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Any personal data we collect will be used for the purposes of providing our services and will not be shared with any third parties not mentioned in our privacy policy or when data is obtained without your consent.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
